Managing Director

With over 25 years’ experience in the events industry, Brent Mitchell is the Managing Director of Events Crew, a company recognised for delivering high-quality equipment and dependable service across some of the UK’s most demanding live environments.

Brent’s journey into events began as a hobby while working as a Main Board Director at Balfour Beatty. What started as a personal interest quickly developed into a professional pursuit, driven by a clear understanding of logistics, leadership, and delivery under pressure.

Today, he leads Events Crew with a focus on service, precision, and care. The company specialises in supporting sporting events, festivals, and television and film productions, where timing and reliability are critical. Brent has built a reputation for ensuring installations are delivered efficiently, often within tight timeframes, without compromising on quality.

Under his direction, Events Crew has invested in a modern fleet and high-specification equipment, allowing the team to meet the evolving demands of large-scale and fast-moving productions. Just as importantly, Brent has shaped a culture where people take pride in their work and genuinely care about the outcome for clients.

His approach is straightforward: provide the right kit, deliver it properly, and support clients every step of the way. This combination of practical experience, attention to detail, and commitment to service continues to set Events Crew apart in a competitive industry.

Brent remains closely involved in the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring standards are maintained and relationships are built on trust, consistency, and delivery.

Rosie

Support Services Manager

Rosie joined Events Crew Limited in 2012 to complete a 20-week work placement as part of her degree in International Business Management. Following the successful completion of her degree in 2013, she returned to the business for a further period before taking the opportunity to travel. During this time, she visited America, Fiji, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and Thailand, before returning to the company on a full-time basis.

Over the years, Rosie has gained broad experience across multiple areas of the business. Her responsibilities have ranged from being the first point of contact for clients to supporting operational planning, as well as managing key administrative functions including invoicing and payroll. This well-rounded experience has given her a strong understanding of both the operational and commercial aspects of the business.

In her role as Support Services Manager, Rosie plays a central role in the day-to-day running of the business, with her organised and approachable nature ensuring everything remains aligned and on track.

Rosie’s interest in the industry stems from her enjoyment of outdoor events, particularly music festivals, and she thrives on the variety and fast-paced nature of the work.

Outside of work, Rosie enjoys travelling and spending time baking.

Luke

Business Development Lead

Most of Luke’s career has been spent in the Automotive industry, working with brands such as Lexus, SEAT, Volvo and Cupra. Moving through the ranks from Trainee Sales Executive up to Sales Manager, Luke has a strong skill set with customer service, product knowledge and management of a sales team.

After a 10-year stint in the automotive industry, Luke started with Events Crew to strengthen the business and expand its opportunities into different markets. Tasked with finding new business but also to manage our current returning customer base.

Since starting with Events Crew back in 2023, Luke has led the way with pushing the business into different markets, Film & TV, Construction, Sports and Festivals. Alongside this Luke has also led the sales of new and used equipment to the extent that we are now an approve Distributor of ZND.

Outside of work Luke enjoys hiking, gardening and live music – Led Zeppelin is on the bucket list, come on guys get the band back together!

Tyler

General Manager

Tyler joined the Events Crew team in 2022 as a lorry driver and quickly proved himself through his leadership, initiative, and passion for the business. Since then, he has worked his way up to General Manager and now plays a key role across almost every area of the company.

With skills ranging from strategic planning and team leadership to HGV driving, telehandler, forklift, and crane operation, there isn’t much Tyler doesn’t get involved in. Whether he’s managing the fleet of vehicles, fixing equipment, or out on event sites supporting the team. Brent often describes Tyler as a machine as he does so much.

Tyler thrives on keeping busy, whether that’s leading projects at work or spending quality time with his family at home. Known for his hands-on approach and strong work ethic, he rarely slows down — apart from at Christmas, which is his favourite time of year to properly relax and recharge. Outside of work, Tyler enjoys working on his collection of classic Minis and has a soft spot for a good hot chocolate, preferring that over tea or coffee any day.

Russell

Operations Manager

Russell joined Events Crew in 2015, initially helping out at weekend events before joining the team full-time as an Event Operative and Electrician. Since then, he has worked his way up to Operations Manager and is now a key point of contact for many of our major clients, including Ironman and Motiv Sports.

During the busy summer season, Russ is often away on tour managing events, driving lorries, cranes and telehandlers — easily his favourite part of the job. His passion for all things machinery doesn’t stop at work either, with plenty of his spare time spent scrolling TikTok videos featuring lorries, telehandlers and other impressive equipment from the events world.

Outside of work, Russ is a proud owner of Hugo, his dapple miniature Dachshund, after many years of searching for the perfect dog. While he thrives during the summer months, Russ would be the first to admit that winter isn’t really his season — especially as time off usually seems to end with him catching a cold!

Zoe

Accounts

Zoe deals with all the finance; from day to day bills and invoices to the longer term projections & corporate data to aid the Senior Management Team to make their strategies a success.

Zoe is all about the numbers through her career history but is surprisingly personable for someone with such in depth knowledge of HMRC rules & regulations. Just don’t be late paying your invoice or you might see another side to her.

When not in the office, Zoe enjoys spending time with her children, horses and dogs in the local countryside or escaping the to the SW coast path.
