Events Crew and Rotary partner for charity.

Events Crew are pleased to announce that Rotary through Rotary Charity Fundraisers will be the official Charity Partner for POWERMAN UK and the two Renegade Triathlon events.

The charity partnership enables Rotary Charity Fundraisers to offer their innovative charity partnership arrangements which allow athletes to race for the charity of their choice with the help and support of Rotary Charity Fundraisers under the Rotary banner for free.

Brent Mitchell, Director of Events Crew comments: "We have worked closely with Rotary for many years and have seen the excellent work they have done in supporting events and raising money for charity. When it came to increasing our event portfolio into sport we were keen to partner with them. We know that they will bring an added dimension to the events."

Russ King of the Rotary Charity Fundraisers comments: "We are delighted to join up with Events Crew as their Charity Partner for the POWERMAN UK and Renegade events. Hundreds of athletes have valued the opportunity of taking part in partnership with Rotary Charity Fundraisers in the event they love whilst at the same time raising funds for their special charity"

Events Crew will be promoting three sporting events in 2013, POWERMAN UK in Sherborne, Tri-it@RoadfordLake and Wimbleball ToughTri.

POWERMAN UK is a Duathlon event which will be held in Sherborne on August 11th and offers a run-bike-run format over two distances, 10km-60km-10km and 10km-120km-20km. The event is a World Championship qualifier for Zofingen in Switzerland in September.

Events Crew will also be promoting two triathlon events under the name Renegade Triathlon. These will be Tri-It@RoadfordLake and Wimbleball ToughTri.

Tri-It@RoadfordLake will be a new concept in Triathlon and offers a chance to take the traditional elements of a triathlon and suit them to your training needs and abilities. The race offers a 1.2mile swim loop, a 10mile loop on the bike and a 2 mile loop on the run course. Athletes will have the option to do as many laps as they want up to the cut-off point.

Wimbleball ToughTri sees the creation of an Olympic Distance event at Wimbleballl Lake on September 29th. The event will be an end of season celebration at one of the iconic triathlon courses in the UK, a location where Events Crew and the Rotary have worked since its creation as a triathlon venue.
